Sustainable Agriculture & Local Food Systems

The Stewart Family established Stewberry Farm in 2016 with a commitment to fostering resilience in food, water, and energy security on our two-acre land in Summerland, BC. With a deep respect for the traditional territories of the syilx / Okanagan people, who have been the caretakers of this land since time immemorial, we strive to acknowledge and honor their ancestral legacy as we pursue our farming goals.

At Stewberry Farm, we take pride in trying to increase our personal and community’s food security with high-quality, organically grown produce. Our primary food crops include delicious liquid gold raw honey, fresh laid farm eggs, crisp spring asparagus and a variety of flavorful garlic. Meticulously handcrafted artisanal goods such as dried flower bouquets, wreaths, garlic braids, handmade paper, pressed flower art and lavender sachets creatively showcase the diversity and beauty of our land.

You can find us at various local markets across the Southern Okanagan, as well as in fine local retail stores and businesses in the area. Join us in celebrating the bounties of this land and practice a different level of resilient residential farmstead living.
